antique SHEARED BEAVER top hat by TAYLOR BALTIMORS.
beautiful condition sheared beaver top hat. exterior and
upper brim of hat are in excellent condition.
underside of brim has a lot of detrioratiom/loss of fur - probably due to moths.
item is beautiful and perfect as a display piece.
includes original 2 piece leather travel case (missing connection strap and latch to close case, it broke away die to age).
interior of the leather case is lined in pinstriped red silk which is padded to protect the hat.
also includez a TAYLOR BALTIMORE stuffed block that was either to cushion the hat in the case or more likely to brush the fur back
into place after travelling.
Both pieces are being sold together, as is, for display purposes.
